Welcome to the VTT-FFC of Provence Verdon! We are pleased to present you an exceptional setting for your mountain bike trips on the Verdon territory. A concept which changes from the big crossings mentioned in other articles. Indeed, the VTT-FFC Provence Verdon website offers many loops that develop with each other. No need of shuttle or logistics. We are supposed to return from where we left.
It is the Office de tourisme communautaire Durance Luberon Verdon which defended this project of hiking ground for mountain bike. A site that is currently certified by the French Cycling Federation. An exceptional place in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Verdon, entirely dedicated to the practice of mountain biking. Moreover, the VTT-FFC Provence Verdon is still evolving with 45 marked routes for more than 900 kilometers of track. There is something for all levels and tastes.

Finally, between the Alpes de Haute-Provence and the Haut Var, the VTT-FFC Provence Verdon site welcomes every year two of the 12 “Randos d’or” organized on the French territory. This shows the importance of this place which has become a reference in the field. Sporting meetings around the practice of mountain biking which can gather up to 2500 people.
Verdon des Collines
The meeting takes place around mid-November and in 2022 we celebrated the 23rd edition of the kind. The Verdon des Collines offers several loops of different lengths and difficulties. These are non-timed courses that participants can discover one after the other if they wish. The Gréoux Bike team is in charge of the organization of this event, as well as the routes of the different courses. Indeed, the Gréoux Bike team has developed no less than 6 courses for this 2022 edition. 10 kilometers and 150 meters of difference in altitude for the easiest one. 30 kilometers and 1000 meters of difference in altitude for the most difficult one. Moreover, note that you can link the courses as you wish. Indeed, the routes are organized in “cloverleaf”, they all meet at a point which is also the refreshment point.
VTT-FFC de Provence Verdon & Trans-Piades
Starting from Vinon-sur-Verdon, this event takes place in mid-June, it is organized by the association Verdon Trois Terrois. This event has the particularity to develop on two days, the space of a weekend. The first day, at the end of the afternoon, we ring the departure of a “twilight” hike. What a joy to pedal in this natural setting with the last rays of sunshine of the day. The evening is put to good use with the organization of a meal/concert. However, be careful because we will have to keep our strength for the next day.
Indeed, it is the second day that we organize the non-timed hikes. For those who have forgotten their bikes, no problem. You will have at your disposal two running loops on hiking trails, which will be timed. They have thought of everything! The organization of the event proposes no less than five courses. The distances range from ten to seventy kilometers in the beautiful landscapes of the Haut-Var and Verdon.
