Culture and heritage or cultural heritage? We will try to explore all directions. Verdon Xp offers whitewater activities. For those who expect college level articles … this might not be the best place.

By “heritage” or “cultural heritage” we mean the heritage that the previous populations of the Verdon transmitted to us. In order to see it a little more clearly, we thought it would be useful to divide this section into four subsections.

History; A valley occupied since prehistoric times, and even before by lemurs … A place that has seen the ages of iron and bronze pass. close to Combs sur Artuby, Jules Cesar settled his legions there in what is today Camps Juers, one of the largest military camps in Europe. Then came the wars of religion and closer to us the resistance during the Second World War. A valley that tells its story!

Lakes of the Verdon; Culture and heritage? And yes, the five artificial lakes of the Verdon would not exist without the efforts made by man. In fact, they incorporate the heritage that everyone can enjoy during the summer season.

The villages of Verdon; They are not left out, 42 municipalities make up the Verdon parks and as many charming Provencal villages. We tell you about them in a few articles.
